About Adam:


Adam Prewett, CRPC®,CFS®
Financial Adviser

Adam Prewett is the founder of Prewett Financial. He is an investment adviser representative with Voya Financial Advisors, a registered broker/dealer, member SIPC.  His practice emphasizes financial planning utilizing a comprehensive approach that analyzes the most important aspects of your financial situation.  Adam has obtained the CRPC® designation through the College for Financial Planning.  The Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM or CRPC® designation focuses on pre- and post- retirement needs of individuals, and requires the adviser to follow a strict Code of Ethics.  Adam has also obtained the Certified Fund Specialist® designation through the Institute of Business & Finance.

Adam graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University and has also obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning from Southern Methodist University. 
He began his financial services career at American Funds, one of the largest mutual fund companies.  Adam has been featured in Advisor Today magazine and is a frequent speaker on various financial topics.    Adam is the author of Financial Freedom: Where to begin?, which is available for purchase through the website.  Adam is also a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and volunteers for Junior Achievement.

Adam is actively involved in the community and is a current partner of Dallas Social Venture Partners.  Dallas Social Venture Partners is a partnership of professionals which donates dollars as well as professional expertise to nonprofit organizations that focus on at-risk children and education.  He is currently serving as the Lead Partner for the Texas Association for Infant Mental Health (TAIMH).  Adam formerly sat on the Board of Directors for Community Health Charities of Texas, a nonprofit organization focused on workplace giving.  Adam is an active member in the Texas A&M Association of Former Students and a proud Texas Aggie Football fan.  Adam, his wife Susan, and children Grayson and Emerson, attend Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton.

Michelle Morrow

Michelle is the Executive Assistant to Adam Prewett. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of North Texas. She intends to obtain the Series 7 securities registration after graduating in 2015. In her free time, Michelle enjoys rock climbing, baking pastries/desserts, and spending time with her family.
